Fertilizers for Test:
Naturize 15-8-10 (dosage: 1/4 tsp, once a month)
Miracle-Gro 15-30-15 (dosage: 1 tsp per gallon water, every two weeks)
Dyna-Gro 7-9-5 (dosage: 2 tsp per gallon water, every two weeks)
Fish & Kelp Food 3-2-2 (Ellie's Ultimate Plant Food) (dosage: 3 T per gal. water, every 2 weeks).
Control: No fertilizer
 
Soil Mix For Plants: 40% organic compost, 40% peat moss, 20% perlite (pH-6.3)
 
First Fertilization: 3/26/04; 
Second Fertilization: 4/9/04 (Miracle Gro, Dyna Gro, Fish & Kelp only)

Take a look at these "before and after" pictures, taken just 24 days apart this March. During the winter, our Northern California fescue lawn took a beating, from freezing weather and heavy rains. The pictures on the left were taken just before applying Naturize 15-4-7 Microbial Fertilizer for Lawns. The pictures on the right: the same lawn areas, just a little more than three weeks later. No other fertilizers or soil amendments were added during this time period. It was Naturize that greened up the lawn!
